Our Annual Christmas Train/Three Kings event is upon us and we are excited and honored to once again be the proud host of such a great cause. For years the annual “Christmas Train/Three Kings Event” has brought happiness and joy to over thousands of boys and girls in our neighboring City of Tecate, Mexico. This could not have been done without the hard work and efforts its founders, Charles and Margaret Coval, the Stewart Family, and the many volunteers that come out each year. If you have not been part of this great event in the past, it is not too late to experience the gratitude and appreciation of all those involved along with making a much needed difference in the lives of those who need it most. There will be two opportunities for you to help. As mentioned, we could not do this without you. Please see the following for more information.
Packing- The packing of over 3,000 gift bags will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 0800 until approximately 1400 hours at Specialty Produce located at 1929 Hancock Street, San Diego, CA 92110. The Christmas Train Event- The distribution will be held on Sunday, January 8 , 2016 in Tecate, Mexcio. Volunteers have the option of meeting in the parking lot of the Edward Cinema Theaters located at 2951 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA 92019 on the morning of the event. Please arrive no later than 7:45 A.M. Together, volunteers may carpool and travel the Tecate border where a check-in will occur. You may also drive directly to the Tecate border where all volunteers will gather no later than 8:30 A.M. and promptly cross the border into Tecate, Mexico. *Please note, proof of U.S citizenship will be required for all U.S. border crossings i.e. U.S. passport or a government identification along with a birth certificate. Additional information will be provided upon registration and confirmation of attendance at each event.
