President’s Message

NLPOA PresidentNational Latino Peace Officer’s Association, San Diego Metro members, family and friends. I have been elected president for the 2018-19 term. I am thankful for the confidence and am blessed with the opportunity.

During the past decade we have experienced extraordinary growth. The upcoming years will be exciting as we continue to set ambitious goals for the association. Our 2018-19 elected board have knowledge, experience and expertise to foster continued growth and success.

Our progress in the immediate future will be measured by our ability to serve our membership and our community. A transparent, open diverse inclusive association will further our goals.

Education will be an area of focus. We will achieve a thriving membership via workshops and quarterly legal updates. Community service will continue via our independent efforts and ongoing collaborations with other non profit organizations.I praise each of our members for having continued confidence in our association. If I or any of your elected officials can do more please let us know. If I am not meeting your needs or expectations, I will always be open to discuss improvement. It is my honor to serve you.
